LLA – Lithuanian Publishers Association | Aldus – European bookfairs network
Lietuvos leideju asociacija (Lithuanian Publishers Association, LLA) was founded in 1989. Its functions include representation of the public opinion of its members on the national level and the introduction of their production on the international level. At the moment LLA represents 40 active publishing houses that develops 80 per cent of Lithuanian book publishing market.
Since 2004 LLA has been a full and equal member of the Federation of European Publishers (FEP), since 2010 – National Association of Creative and Cultural Industries of Lithuania (KIKA), as well from 2000 till 2013 – member of International Publishers Association (IPA).
LLA is a non-governmental organization not seeking to make any profit
Aldus Up builds upon the successful experience of Aldus - the European Book Fairs network - promoting the internationalization of the book sector and new opportunities for book professionals to develop their careers internationally through innovative events, networking and training activities.
