I was working in the Spanish Public Administration, after a degree in Law, from 1992 to 2004 as a member of the Senior Administrators Corp. During those years I was the head of several departments in Ministries. My last senior post was at the Ministry of Culture where we designed and directed the National Strategy for Reading Promotion (2001/4). In 2004 I joined Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez, a non-for-profit organisation, devoted to the promotion of reading and the innovation of publishing industry. I am also member of the Steering Committee and the board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Foundations.
