Literary Translator - Biblit, Italy
I am a literary translator and book assessor with several years’ experience in adults and children publishing. In 1999 I founded the Italian literary translators' network Biblit (www.biblit.it), which in 2006 was awarded the Special Jury Prize of the Mondello Literary Prize. I have served on the boards and committees of various translation organisations: Chair of the Translators’ Section of Sindacato Nazionale Scrittori (Italian Writers’ Union), 2004-2011; Chair of STRADE (Italian Translators’ Union), 2012-2013. I am currently a member of the Scientific Committee of Casa delle Traduzioni (Italian Translators’ House, Rome).
