Jelena Lengold - Bibliography

Born on 15 July 1959 in Kruševac, Serbia.
She has published fourteen books which include seven books of poetry, six books of short stories and a novel. She is represented in a number of anthologies of poetry and short stories. Her books are translated and published in UK, USA, Italy, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Albania, Slovenia, Poland, Albania...
Jelena Lengold has worked as a journalist and an editor in the culture desk at Radio Belgrade. She has afterwards worked as a project coordinator of Nansenskolen Humanistic Academy in Lillehammer, Norway. Since September 2011 she has been a freelance artist, dedicated solely to writing as her only profession. She is living in Belgrade.

AWARDS:
For the book of poems Images From the Life of a Kapellmeister she received the Đura Jakšić Award.
For the collection of short stories The Fairground Magician she received the following awards: Biljana Jovanović, Žensko pero, Zlatni Hit liber, as well as the European Union Prize for Literature.
For the book of poems A Well of Heavy Words she received the Jefimijin vez Award.
