Princípia Editora has several imprints, specialized in different areas: Principia (academic and scientific book), Lucerna and Calcutá (religion), Sopa de Letras (fiction), Sete Mares (nautical, sports and life&turism), Casa Sassetti (music and arts), Tribuna da História (history and military), Cascais Editora (self-publishing and packaging). In the past, Princípia Editora developed activities as bookseller and distributor. .
In addition, Henrique Mota is president of the Federation of European Publishers, based in Brussels, an umbrella organization that represents 28 national book publishers’ associations in the European Union and the European Economic Area. In Portugal, is member of the Board of APEL (Portuguese Publishers and Booksellers Association) and Chairman of its International Relations Department.
Henrique Mota is a former academic (law professor) and journalist; studied at the Portuguese Catholic University (Law) and at Johns Hopkins University (International Relations)
