Software Engineer - mEDRA, Italy

With a degree in Computer Engineering at the Politecnico University of Milan, his core expertise is focused on requirements analysis and software architecture design. He joined mEDRA since 2007 and took part to several R&D project, focusing on standards for identification, description and protection of digital contents. He is currently the lead of mEDRA technical team in charge of the developments for the LIA project, where he has taken part to all the project phases, from the requirement analysis to the software deployment, supporting also the project management from the technical point of view. Ha also manages the mEDRA infrastructure supporting the services for the DOI registration and the Italian ISBN Agency. He has an excellent knowledge of XML standards (DTD, XML Schema, XSLT transformations), network technologies (HTTP protocol, Web Service, Handle System, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery), good experience in programming in .NET (C++ and C#), PERL, Java EE environments (Apache, Tomcat, Jetty, JDBC, JSP, Tiles) with the Spring framework (Core, MVC, Security, Batch, Integration) and in database design and management, mainly with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL systems.
